The Cleveland History Center is a beautiful, unique, and fun location for your wedding! At the venue, there are two gardens. First is the Hanna Courtyard Garden. This garden is perfect for a small to mid-sized ceremony. It is also a beautiful backdrop for portraits. Or if you are looking to host a slightly larger wedding party, consider the Hay McKinney Garden. Either way, you will find beauty inside and out!
The Cleveland History Center has a seven acre campus and provides an elegant backdrop for your wedding and reception. It is nestled in a location once commonly known as the Western Reserve.
There are two gardens on the property and both are gorgeous! For a truly ornate and historic setting, reserve the Hay McKinney Garden and Reception Hall. In this part of the venue you can entertain in the early twentieth-century elegance of the Gilded Age. Or for a more intimate setting, choose the lush Hanna Courtyard Garden. With either choice though, you won’t be disappointed with the beauty that surrounds you.
Then, after the ceremony, you and your guests can head over to the Crawford Rotunda for your cocktail hour and reception. Here, guests can dance and dine among antique and classic automobiles, rare aircraft, and motorcycles.
One of the benefits to having your wedding here is the chance for guests to explore the museum during the cocktail hour. Your family and friends can enjoy stunning decor, classic architecture, and historic collections from cars to clothes.
In addition to all of the beautiful garden areas and the wide array of classic and antique transportation, you and your guests can also enjoy the indoor carousel! I know, I saved the best part for last! But honestly, where else can you get married and also have a carousel in your reception venue? Nowhere else in Ohio that I know of!
This venue truly has a lot to offer. It is definitely a unique and beautiful place to celebrate your marriage! I would highly recommend considering it for your wedding day.
And finally, here is a gallery with some of my favorite wedding photos captured at a recent wedding at the Cleveland History Center. Also, make sure to view my most recent weddings here.
