When you start looking for a beautiful barn wedding venue in Ohio, make sure you consider Brookside Farm Wedding Venue. It is located only about an hour away from Cleveland and half an hour from Akron.
Brookside Farm is a working 120 acre farm and it offers a gorgeous landscape to capture beautiful bridal portraits and wedding photos throughout the property. The farm has multiple buildings, beautiful scenery, and offers so many wonderful opportunities for gorgeous portraits on your wedding day.

This historic 1884 barn is large enough to host up to 275 guests. The main level contains 6,000 square feet of space. Upscale restrooms are located within the barn as well as an oversized room and dock for catering use.
A large “country” bar includes ample coolers for refreshments. Despite its age, the barn contains modern conveniences to assure you have a great event – like a 120” high definition screen for viewing photographs and videos from your childhood, fun memories dating, and engagement photos!
In Ohio you never know if it will be a 60 and rainy, 90 and sweltering, or (we all hope) the perfect weather. Thankfully, Brookside Farm offers options for both indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies. The farm offers a gorgeous landscape for outdoor ceremonies and if you want an indoor ceremony (or there is inclement weather) the indoor chapel is simple and perfect to customize however you would like. You can also opt to have your ceremony in the barn where the receptions are held.
Also, the facilities are air conditioned and heated as needed *happy dance!!* Because no one wants to be super sweaty on their wedding day!

Another very important feature is that the barn is wheelchair accessible and ADA compliant. This includes handicap parking, bathroom, ramps, railings, etc.
Parking attendants assist in parking cars in a lighted area near the barn and chapel but out of sight of your event.
In addition to the ceremony and reception locations, the farm also offers a large bridal prep room with lots of space with everything you need for the big day like plenty of counter space, mirrors, comfy chairs, outlets, etc. The bridal room is located underneath the barn (and it’s air conditioned! *yay*). There is plenty of room so your entire bridal party can get ready together!
You can tell how much love and hard work has been put into this wedding venue. I love all of the attention to detail from the barn beams covered in string lights to the well-maintained buildings and landscapes. This farm is the perfect place for a rustic, barn wedding!
